Lifestyle Delivery Systems Inc. announces City of Coachella, California Approves Marijuana Conditional Use Permit
août 9, 2016Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, August 9, 2016, Lifestyle Delivery Systems Inc. (CSE: LDS, OTCQB: LDSYF, and XETR: LD6) is pleased to announce that the City of Coachella, California has approved the cultivation of marijuana and the manufacturing of marijuana products in the City of Coachella.
As previously announced in the Company’s June 14, 2016 news release, the Company is working with Cultivation Technologies Inc. to establish a permitted facility in Coachella to manufacture CannaStrips. The City of Coachella has voted to allow a temporary mobile structure on the permitted site that would provide LDS a place to manufacture CannaStrips in the interim period during the construction of a permanent 111,000 square foot permitted CTI building. The temporary facility would allow for production of CannaStrips four to five months sooner, while waiting for the completion of the permanent CTI building. The Company believes that this accelerated timeframe for opening the California market is a significant step in its brand recognition and first to market efforts for LDS. Brad Eckenweiler, the Company’s CEO stated “Our goal is to begin our manufacturing and marketing efforts as soon as possible and with the help of the City of Coachella and the CTI Group it appears as though we will be successful in achieving those goals.” The Company intends to take an active roll in promoting the benefits of smokeless cannabinoid therapy in cities and states where medicinal and recreational marijuana use is permitted.
